There’s a clash nowadays between Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Corel Draw X3, These days, Adobe Photoshop was commonly taught on Fine Arts students than Corel Draw. Younger generations of graphic artists prefer Adobe Photoshop more than Corel Graphic Suite as their medium for digital design. But let’s face it at the Corporate World, companies in our industry most often uses Corel Draw X3 to create more intricate images for packaging, logos, etc. Experienced graphic artists expertise on Corel Draw and also maybe because that was what they’ve learned to.

Let’s just weight things between these two:

For all we know, Adobe Photoshop is great for making digital photos artistic. It has also shapes and curve tools and you can skew, rotate depends on what image you want to portray. There’s filter tab for painting techniques (eg. palette knife, sketch, cut out pencil, fresco) and you can blend colors for photographic effects.

On the other hand, Corel Draw X3 gives us more flexibility for art professionals, Corel gives more freedom in the image you want to come up with. Though it’s more difficult to use (I mean Photoshop can be grasp by ordinary individuals a lot easier without being less artistic in just one click). They can transform ordinary photos to fantastic result. Corel Draw gives it more on professional way.

After all, what counts more is now, there are several tools to use in the creative world.

It’s been a while since I do not write here.

Well, I’ve been busy updating contents on site. I now believe that being a web designer is a calling, not just a profession. It’s a talent that must come naturally on you.

Some things can be found on academics that you have studied, but designing is a 75% talent.

You’re loving it as you get hooked on it. And I loved getting hooked on it this time. Even though I am an IT graduate, I still want to find space where I can apply arts. And yes, I had found it. I never know where will I get tired but for now. I just want to enjoy it.

I hope every web designer enjoys their job right now.

I will be forever slave of art. And I will apply it, wherever life takes me.

its been quite a while since I’ve been off writing here.. Well, it’s because of my job. As a web designer, I am enjoying it so far. There is really an excitement being an artist inside once I am taking, editing photos and putting it on a website of the company I am working for. As for a first time, things are going smoother now as I don’t expected. I should be very thankful for this wonderful blessing.

It’s beginning to be my favorite….It’s his rendition of Mariah Carey’s ” You’ll always be my baby.” And it’s getting popular..

I bet it would be Syesha Mercado, this girl is so great!!!
